What’s Your One Day?

For Garrett McDermott, it’s the North Channel.

Garrett is attempting to swim from Northern Ireland to Scotland. For those who don’t know, the North Channel is widely regarded as one of the toughest open water swims in the world. Freezing temperatures. Strong tides. Jellyfish. Unpredictable weather. It’s not just a swim. It’s a test of endurance, discipline and determination.

And it has been a lifelong ambition of his.

But Garrett isn’t doing this just for himself.

He’s chosen to turn his “One Day” into something bigger. As he prepares to take on the North Channel, he’s raising funds to help provide loving, safe family homes for orphaned and vulnerable children in Lesotho.

That’s what we love about this.
